Playwright's Note



Is it a book or is it a play? It's both.


For this audiobook, I wanted to do something a little different to celebrate the both-ness of this story. We spent the summer of 2025 collaborating as an ensemble on a product that's more in the vein of a radio play. This audio production is directed by me, Caroline Macon Fleischer, and features an original soundtrack by the composer John Sample. The original book (published by CLASH Books in October 2025), has been slightly abridged to suit this form. The listening experience is divided into three acts. Ideally, listeners can enjoy the story in one go or divide it into episodes per act. I hope you have a good time listening (and that you love it).
